Which XBox 360 Games?
Not sure which games are best for you? See our guide below.
Microsoft's Xbox 360 is there new games console. It is backward compatible with most original Xbox games. You can play XBox live via an ethernet cable or via a wireless network adapter.
The Xbox 360 offers great new technology so most control options work via a wireless network. There are wireless controllers and also an official Xbox 360 steering wheel for driving games like NASCAR 09
, Forza Motorsport 3 and by far the best driving simulator on any console Race Pro.
For more information on the Xbox 360 console view our guide below, or if you want new console games then there are plenty to choose from in the games section. Now all XBox 360's come with HDMI output so you can get true HD.

XBox 360
XBox 360 Driving Games
Race Pro by Simbin is by far the best driving simulation on the Xbox 360. The game physics are truly brilliant especially when playing on the Microsoft Xbox 360 steering wheel. My personal favourite cars are teh single seaters with the Formula Masters and the Formula BMW's really standing out. There are a fair number of tracks available okus there are a few downloadable tracks including Spa and Imola.
There are a few bugs that still haven't and probably won't be fixed, but there are workarounds, which still make the game more than playable.
Without doubt if you are serious about driving/racing and play simluation games with the correct equipment - steering wheel, pedals, etc. then this is the best driving game on any console at the present time. Maybe Gran Turismo 5 will be the ultimate driving simulation or it could be the future console release of F1 2011, only time will tell.
Madcatz Xbox360 Wireless Racing Wheel
The only steering wheel that seems to be available for the Xbox 360 at the present time seems to be the Madcatz Xbox360 Wireless Racing Wheel which is priced at £109.99. All other options like the Fanatec wheels were either sold out (Turbo S) or out of stock (Fanatec's new wheel).
Race Pro Force Feedback workaround
If you are using hte official Xbox 360 steering wheel some people have experienced problems with a lack of force feedback when playing Race Pro. If you experience this problem, here is the solution:
Turn on your Xbox 360 console with a normal controller. Sign in and boot up Race Pro as you normally would. When the lizard on the loading screen appears, turn on your Steering Wheel with the Xbox button in the middle. Go into the game with the normal controller, click on single race, then choose a car and a track and then press the back button until you get back to the screen before you are in the game. Now sign out on pad 1 and then sign in on the steering wheel. Enter the game pressing the A button and you will have force feedback.
Forza 3 Car Packs
Check out the latest Car Packs for Forza Motorsport 3 available now on Game Marketplace. These include the
recent AutoWeek special with the Aston Martin One-77, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 and Porsche Boxster S.
Watch Sky TV on your XBox 360
You can now watch gripping Premier League Football from Sky Sports, blockbuster movies from Sky Movies and all
your favourite channels with Sky Player on Xbox LIVE - available to Gold members.
Not a Sky subscriber? Not a problem. Haven't got a satellite dish? Not a problem. Don't want an annual contract?
Well, you get the picture. Since you're already a Gold member it's even easier for you to unlock great TV on your
Xbox.
It's simple, just subscribe to Sky Player online and then pick the way you want to watch – from programmes
on-demand to one month subscriptions to live TV. And if you're already a Sky subscriber, Sky Player on Xbox
LIVE is another great way for you to watch your favourite programmes.
With Avatar Party mode you can watch live TV and chat with your mates, even if they're not in the same room - a
whole new way for you to argue about whether that goal was offside!
Project Natal now Kinect on XBox360
One of the largest gaming events, the E3 in Los Angeles has started. Microsoft just kicked it off with their big
presentation: Kinect™ (previously named project Natal), the movement sensing gadget is finally scheduled to be
released in November. 15 compatible games will be release as a starting line-up.
There will be no more controllers in your hand, it's no longer about button sequences, it's about your actual
movements .
The sleek, shiny Kinect™ holds a camera and sensor unit that follows your movements so precise that it really
opens a new gaming dimension, far beyond simple party games.
The Kinect™ also features speech recognition adding voice commands to take control of the menus and games.
Simply tell your console to play a game or go online for a video chat or similar.
The Kinect™ will come in November. Time
will tell as to whether this is a good idea, I've only really seen the woman trying to groom the boy on a swing so far and
that sort of thing really doesn't appeal to me!
